Further details of each of the projects can be found on our VOLUNTEER page.

EDEN PROJECT, UK | APRIL 2019

Our first project, taking place in April 2019 is located at the world famous Eden Project in Cornwall. This build will see 12 volunteers construct an educational pavilion, containing two live bee hives for the B4 Project CIC. The B4 Project aims to raise awareness of the problems faced by the UK’s native bee population. This pavilion will help to visualise some of these issues and will form part of the ‘Cornish Native Trail’ at The Eden Project. Spaces for this project are filling up fast, so get in quick to avoid disappointment!

BUCA SCHOOL, FIJI | SUMMER 2019

In 2019 we’re heading back to the beautiful islands of Fiji to construct two more important community buildings. This one will see a shelter come learning space built for a school located in Savusavu on the second largest island in Fiji, Vanua Levu. Currently kids at the school have to assemble outside in the baking sun or pouring rain twice a day, affecting their learning and causing health related issues. The space will provide shelter for their assemblies as well as a number of other functions!

BULA BATIKI, FIJI | SUMMER 2019

Our second Fiji project this year is on the much smaller, untouched island of Batiki. The villages of Batiki Island are home to 300 community members who have come together to create a sustainable income for the island in the form of processing virgin coconut oil. In 2019 we are designing and constructing a community-owned and run coconut oil processing facility, which will give the village members of 'Bula Batiki' a place to expand and grow their business. This project will free up the existing community hall for celebrations, events and gatherings.

RANWAS SCHOOL, VANUATU | SUMMER 2019

Our first project in Vanuatu will see a library, classroom and teachers office constructed for the children and staff of Ranwas school on Vanuatu. Located in the Pacific Ocean, cyclone Pam in 2015 wiped out the village’s existing classroom and as a result, the children have been going to school in a UNICEF tent. This tent combined with a temporary tarpaulin shelter and the church house have been the school ever since.
